 ANALYSIS

Webb is an ace in any rotation, Rasmussen is the king of the bullpen game starter and Greinke can still use his brain to outwit hitters.  Skubal and Whitlock need to pick up on the learning curve but show great promise.  Ryu went down with a injury in 22.

This bullpen is one of the best in the league.  Montero, Munoz and Sewald are all lights out and Moll, Chavez and Brebbia can eat up the innings between a starter and the back of the bullpen.

The regression in the lineup and the bench makes a repeat championship an unrealistic dream.  Crawford (652) has returned to earth while  Acuna (764) and Winker (688)  under performed.  Bryan Reynolds (807) and Josh Bell (784) will lead the offense while Slater (774) and Bouchard (959) provide some interesting options off the bench.

The numbers indicate the Slumpbusters play in the weak NL West and Henslee knows how to get the most out of his roster so a playoff spot is not out of the question if he can figure out how to get by Pittsburgh.  If you have to put money on it, look for Cy Fair to finish second in the NL West.
