ANALYSIS
The rotation is intimidating. The arrival of Wright gives Anderson 5 playoff caliber starters. Granted, Severino will have limited IP but if judiciously used, Severino can be used in a high leverage start.
The bullpen has alot of depth . H. Brown and D. Lee look like they will have stellar careers. Bednar, Cimber, Hicks and Tepera are above average but the team could use a bonafide closer.
Injuries to Albies and Seager will require Anderson to use his bag of magic tricks when filling out the lineup. Nimmo is the only hitter reaching the 800 mark. E. Rios and Soler provide inconsistent but scary power.
The bottom line: how far can this rotation take SSCM ?? The numbers say SSCM will finish 2nd in the AL Central but never under estimate the man with a World Series ring.
