ANALYSIS

Martin Perez and Strider announced their presence with authority in the 22 MLB season and Gilbert has arrived and can win any playoff game.  The #4 and #5 slots are simply cannon fodder.

Another great bullpen.  Dominquez is a dominant closer and Kittredge, May and Akin are quality options in late innings.  Thornton and Price are vets who can bridge the gap in middle innings.

Betts and Bogaerts continue their All Star careers while  Turner, Vasquez and Flores provide consistent veteran performances.  Santana is growing old and Bellinger is still trying to catch the magic he had earlier in his career.   The future looks bright when you look at Casas, Mitchell and Alvarez on the bench but their lack of playing time diminishes any impact they can make in the 23 SSL season.   Numbers say Louisville will finish 4th in the NL East.
