Michael Johnson has 22 years in the SSL resulting in 9 playoff appearances, 2 World Series visits but no rings. Can this be the year the Guppies get that ring ??

What can be said about Ohtani that has not been said ?? How many years does he have to do what he has done so far to be considered one of the top players in MLB history ?? How the hell did we let Michael Johnson make him a Guppie ??
You want pitching ?? The Guppies have the pitching!!! Ohtani, Rodon and LH. Garcia all have an OPS below 600 while Giolitto and Sampson eat up the innings. But why worry about a starting rotation when you have 6 different relievers with OPSs under 600 and the rest are below 680 ??? Bard has a 503 OPS so look for him to be the number 1 closer. The only weakness is the back of the rotation but the bullpen should take care of that issue.
Did I say Ohtani is a Guppie ?? I know the Angels could not make the MLB playoffs with Ohtani and Trout but the Angels do not have the Guppies pitching staff nor is their lineup filled with players like Realmuto, Kim and Marte. Granted, every team has some weaknesses and the Guppies could use some better hitters at 3B and 2B but that is not enough to be simply awed by Ohtani and company. The puzzling part is the numbers say this excellent roster will only finish 2nd in the AL West. Look for Michael Johnson to trump that forecast.
